Celtic FC Christmas 2020 Retail Campaign

In a year like no other, our “Stay Connected” campaign pitch won the hearts of Celtic FC, resulting in a Christmas retail campaign to remember.

We brought the fans together and invited them to “Stay Connected” to each other and to the club through the iconic crest. In a year when the whole world was socially distant but virtually connected Christmas looked a little different.

We showed the Celtic fans they are not alone, and that they are part of the worldwide virtually connected family that is Celtic FC. A global family with a shared passion. Even in the virtual world the traditional Christmas spirit still exists. Players connect to fans, fans connect with each other, and everyone lends a hand to those less fortunate. A global family coming together to celebrate Christmas.

We created a modern and contemporary neon twist on the crest and got to work. Hundreds of campaign assets later we delivered a successful campaign that included over 210,000 Christmas catalogues, hundreds of digital assets that generated over 1.4 million views on social, twinkling window displays that captured the essence of Christmas and retail POS for all Celtic Stores across Scotland and Ireland.
