Tennis Scotland Rebrand

Tennis Scotland’s mission is to grow tennis by making it relevant, accessible, welcoming and enjoyable. We designed a fresh, contemporary rebrand to reflect this, modernising the logo and revitalising the colour palette. A splash of pink replaces the previous yellow secondary colour while the addition of black for competitions instantly refreshes the brand with a slick, striking contrast.

Representing speed, movement and progression, the modern Saltire has been developed into a contemporary, dynamic shape while maintaining the Scottish roots at the heart of the brand. From the direction of the ball spin to the quick movements of the player, the new brand celebrates the sweeping curves featured in the art of playing tennis.

The Saltire curve acts as a design element to inject a high-powered energy to visual content. The two overlapping shapes forming the Saltire are separated as if crossing over each other, conveying movement and linking to the powerful, fast-paced game of tennis. The overlapping shapes are flexible to suit the nature of the artwork, constantly moving and evolving like a tennis match itself. An offset outline stroke is applied to each overlapping shape to enhance the sense of motion.
